The Impundulu of South Africa: Monsters of the World
The Impundulu, or lightning bird, is a vampire from the folklore of South Africa. It can summon lightning and thunder, and, like all vampires, drinks its victim’s blood. There seems to be no known ways to defend against this creature at this time, so pray you don’t encounter one.
